Education for healthcare professionals

It is a 6 days intensive COURSE where  participants achieve basic knowledge in palliative care. At the end of education a participant can take the final exam. If the medical doctors are successful at the final exam, they receive a diploma of PALLIATIVE CARE SCHOOL "Step by Step".

It is a 2- day intense course where participant learn about the basic treatment of body symptoms in  palliative care. It is for groups or on behalf of a previous agreement. Request for education is needed to be sent on info@szpho.si.

Calender of events

It is an afternoon course on the chosen topic from pallitive care.

It is a one day consultation about implementing palliative care. The main goal is conecting different services, which are providing palliative care (healthcare system, pharmacy, social institutes,…) inside the region.

These are one day consultations how to implement palliative care in other basic sciences of medicine (for example: palliative care and urgent medicine, palliative care and cardiology,…).

It is a major two day event every second year, its main organiser is Slovenian Association of Palliative and Hospic Care. Guests from abroad are also invited.

There is an entrance fee for participants.
